More About The Software Engineer Role

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product and design teams to build beautiful WordPress and React websites.  You will work in a collaborative coding environment where you will perform thoughtful code reviews and deploy features daily.  This role will be our organization’s subject matter expert for the React Gutenberg editor.

You might be a match if you…

  • Have 3+ years developing front-end web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Have 2+ years developing React.js applications.
  • Have 1+ years of developing in backend languages (PHP, etc.)

Goals & Responsibilities

  • Write great software that solves the needs of our members and team.
  • Address member issues and software bugs quickly.
  • Work with the Product team to prototype, test, and launch new features.
  • Analyze requirements and scope development projects. 
  • Build systems and processes to make team members more effective & efficient. 
  • Peer review, test, and document our software & infrastructure. 
  • Produce design proposals and overview documents for new development.
  • Owns a functional area for the organization.
  • Set measurable goals, monitor and report on progress.
